Installation
We fit what we sell
Our own fitters, in our own van, installing screens we tested at our own unit first. Nobody hands you a phone number for a subcontractor, and there is nobody to blame if something is wrong — which is rather the point.
How an installation runs
-
We come and look
A survey, free and with nothing attached to it. We measure the space, check what is behind the wall, find the nearest power, and work out how a screen actually gets into the building. Ten minutes of this prevents most of what goes wrong on an installation day.
-
You get a fixed written price
One figure covering the screens, the brackets, the fitting and the making good — not a day rate that grows. If the survey turned something up, it is in the quote rather than a phone call halfway through the job.
-
We build and test it first
Screens are power-on tested at our unit in Hainault before they leave, and any artwork we are producing is proofed and approved by you before installation day. Nothing is seen for the first time on your wall.
-
We fit it and show you how it works
Our own fitters, in our own van, with the cabling run properly and concealed. Before we leave, someone who works in the shop is shown how to change what is on the screen — from a phone, not a laptop in a back office.
What the price includes
- Site survey and a fixed written quotation
- Wall, ceiling, recess or freestanding mounting, and the brackets for it
- Cable routing and concealment, and a fused spur where one is needed
- Screens configured, tested and playing your content before we leave
- Handover to whoever will actually be updating it
- The old unit taken away and disposed of, if there is one
What we need from you
- Somewhere to park within reach of the door for a couple of hours
- A mains supply near the mounting position, or tell us and we will price adding one
- Permission from your landlord, freeholder or managing agent — external and shopfront signage usually needs it, and it is the one thing we cannot get for you
- Anything you know about that is behind the wall: cables, pipes, a steel
The full position is in our terms and conditions.
Where our own fitters go
We install across east London and Essex on set days, which is what keeps it affordable — a batched run costs a fraction of a van sent out for one drop. Outside these areas we still install; it is priced per job, so ask.

Questions we are asked
- How much does installation cost?
- It is quoted after a survey, and the survey is free. A single screen on a plasterboard wall with a socket behind it is a very different job from four ceiling-hung menu boards over a serving counter, and any "from" price we put on this page would be wrong for one of them. You get one fixed figure before anything is booked.
- Do I have to close the shop?
- Almost never. Most fits take a few hours and we work around trading — early mornings before opening are common for takeaways and cafés. Tell us when suits and we will book the run day around it.
- Can you install screens I bought elsewhere?
- Usually yes, if the unit is sound and we can get the right bracket for it. Send us the model number and a photograph of the space and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth doing.
- What happens if something goes wrong afterwards?
- Call us. Anything we supplied and fitted is covered by the warranty on our terms page, and because we fitted it ourselves there is no argument about whether the fault is the screen or the installation.
- Do you do the artwork as well?
- Yes — design is in-house. Menu layouts, animated boards, seasonal changes. It is quoted separately so you can take it or leave it, and you approve a proof before anything is produced.
Next step
Not sure which screen you need?
Send a photo of the space and we will tell you what fits, what it costs and when it can be in. No obligation, and no salesperson calling you twice a day.
