A printed menu board costs you twice: once at the print shop, and again every time a supplier puts their prices up and you leave the old number on the wall because reprinting is a job. A screen turns that into thirty seconds.

Most takeaway counters we fit take three or four screens in a row, portrait or landscape, run from one player. We design the artwork in house so the layout is built around your menu rather than a template, and we fit it ourselves — no subcontractor, one number to call.

What screens for takeaways actually need

Readable from the door

Someone reads your board from four or five metres back, standing up, often in a queue. That is a size decision before it is a design one — go one size up from what looks right on a desk.

Bright enough for a lit shopfront

A standard TV washes out under strip lighting and next to a hot counter. Commercial panels are built to run all day at brightness a domestic set cannot hold.

Priced to be changed

The whole point is that the board is not fixed. Ask what it costs to change a price before you buy — with us, nothing.

Built to run open to close

A domestic television is rated for a few hours a day. Sixteen hours, seven days, is a different specification and a different warranty.

How many screens do I need for my counter?

Most takeaways run three or four. The usual split is one screen per menu section — mains, sides and meal deals — so a customer reads one board rather than scanning across all of them. Send us a photo of the wall and we will tell you what fits.

Can I change prices myself?

Yes. Once the artwork is set up, changing a price is a text edit and it costs nothing. If you would rather we did it, ring us.

Do you design the menu artwork?

We do, in house. It is an option on every screen at checkout — static or animated, basic or high-end — and it adds five to seven working days before dispatch so you can see a proof and sign it off before anything is printed to screen.

What does delivery and fitting cost?

Inside our van radius around Hainault, delivery is free over the order threshold for your postcode — check it on any product page. Fitting is quoted separately once we know whether it is a plasterboard wall or a solid one.
